June Favorites.

Soap & Glory One Heck of a Blot Mattifying powder; Maybelline Color Tattoo in Bad to the Bronze; tarte tarteist Lip Paint in yaassss

I had been looking forward to June for months. B’s parents visited early on and my best lady, Kim, came to hang out and see P!ATD and Weezer. It’s been a wee bit hard being away from our friends and family so it meant a lot to have them here even if it was just for a little while. I’ve been working a lot and because of my fun work environment, I have been experimenting a lot with my makeup.

It’s not breaking news that it’s getting hot out. I’m a mega oily lady and of course, the heat only makes it worse. I’ve been looking for a powder with a little extra heavy duty mattifying power and I think the Soap & Glory One Heck of A Blot Powder is exactly what I wanted. It doesn’t add any coverage, but it helps keep my skin looking naturally matte for hours.

My love for the Maybelline Color Tattoo in Bad to the Bronze has been expressed on B&B for years, but I thought I’d give it a little shout out. When I’m in a rush to get ready before work, this stuff is my jam. Blending it toward the crease makes it look like a full eye shadow look when it’s really just one cream product.

Purple lips rock my world. I have always been so into purple lips, but I’ve recently been getting a little more adventurous with wearing them in my day to day life. I wore the tarte tarteist Creamy Matte Lip Paint in yaassss to work and everyone loved it. I got compliment after compliment from customers and my coworkers that made me love it just that much more. I even wore it to meet my true love, Brendon Urie. It’s incredibly long lasting and not uber drying. It dries down into a slight powdery finish that locks the color in. When it does fade, it turns into a gorgeous hot pink/lavender stain that still looks amazing. I can’t wait to try some of the other shades in the collection.
