The Spring/Summer Bag of Dreams.

Clement Street Francie Textured Leather Clutch

There’s nothing like a surprise package in the mail to make you feel special. When that surprise package has a Kate Spade bag in it, it’s just a tad bit ton more special. When I find a hand bag I love, I end up using it for years on end (I’m looking at you, Fossil Sydney Satchel.). I have a feeling this new addition will be one of them.

The Clement Street Francie Textured Leather Clutch filled a void in my handbag collection I didn’t realize existed. I’m a big fan of a roomie satchel or a medium sized crossbody bag so I was a bit worried about how much use I’d get out of the Francie Clutch because of its small size. I was beyond wrong. The compact size has forced me to really streamline what I bring with me day to day. It comfortably fits my phone, wallet, keys, and lip balm.

The strap is removable making it a true clutch and the textured leather helps it keep its structure. Plus, it has a huge bow on it. How has it taken this long for me to mention the bow?! It’s big, but not so big that it adds bulk or makes it hard to close. I like the structured and clean detail of it.

I think the color of the bag is the perfect shade for Spring/Summer. It’s listed as Bright Papaya/Pink Blush, but I think Bright Papaya is a pretty accurate descriptor. You know me, my wardrobe is pretty neutral, but I think something like a statement handbag is the perfect way to inject some color into my closet. I’ve been wearing this clutch non-stop and I don’t see an end to its reign any time soon.

PS Thank you to Mama and Papa for giving my Spring/Summer wardrobe some life.
