FOTD: Spooky Night.

Tara Halloween make up blue hairFantasy Makers Fa-Boo-Lash! in MysteriousScarecrow Vampire FangsHey there bow friends!

Was that a surprise twist or what?  This here is my Halloween look this year!  My friends and I are going as modern gothic vampires. Apparently that means big lashes and bold hair.  My eye look is composed of electric blues and icy silvers with some smokey shadow going on in the outer corner.  My base makeup is a mix of my Tarte Amazonian Clay foundation and a much paler shade of the Revlon Colorstay Liquid foundation.  I went with a heavy contour (NYC Sunny Bronzer) and highlight (theBalm Mary-Lou Manizer) as well as a dusting of pale powder to help make me look vampiric (Rimmel Stay Matte).  Although I’ve never watched it, from what I understand the modern vampires on Vampire Diaries have veining underneath their eyes and so I used a Jordana Fabuliner felt tip eyeliner in brown in order to mimic veins peeking through.

Eyes – Maybelline Eyestudio Quad in Sapphire Siren/ L’oreal Hip Metallic Shadow Duo in Platinum/ Milani Eyetech Extreme/ Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara

Lips – Kat Von D Studded Kiss Lipstick in Poe/ Jane Cosmetics Eyeliner

I hope you guys enjoy this crazy look!  I never wear this much color so I had a lot of fun putting it together.  I guess without the teeth I could be an ice princess or something.  Hmm.  Anyways, I’ll post some photos of my costume on twitter and facebook so look out for them!  I’d love to see your costumes so make sure to share them as well.  Have a fun and safe Halloween everyone!

We shall talk soon.
