A Match Made in Curl Heaven.

Hey there, bow friends!

Recently, I’ve been curling my hair a ton.  My hair has grown a ton in these last couple of months and I’ve enjoyed giving it some more texture.    I never curled my hair a ton, but after getting my hands on this Remington curling wand, I can’t stop.  Don’t worry, I’m not frying my hair.

The curling wand at its base is 1 and 1/2 inch and tapers to 1 inch.  I like bigger, looser curls because they can easily transition to beachy looking waves.  This tool heats up in like 15 seconds (Although it claims 60 seconds to heat up, this thing is an inferno.) from 270 to 410 degrees.  I love that you can change the heat setting easily with a push of a button.  My hair never feels fried or dry after using this and it actually looks quite shiny.  The wand itself isn’t super pricy either which makes it that much better.  I’m in love.Remington Curling Wand and The Wet BrushIf there’s something I haven’t experienced in ages it’s tangles.  Because of my longer hair, I find I face tangles pretty often whether I curl it or not.  My old hairbrush seemed to be causing a lot of breakage and split ends when I was trying to detangle.  The other day I picked up The Wet Brush (via Rachel Whitehurst’s gushing review, also she’s gorgeous, also I want to be best friends, aha.) and my word.  My hair is so smooth, shiny, and tangle free.  It’s also so much less frizzy than it was before using it.  I find after curling my hair, it starts taking on the look of a Tangela and this brush has been helping me keep it under control.

I think I’m going to try and get my hands on The Wet Brush in the travel size as well as the paddle brush.  Sigh.  I get sucked in so easily.  Do you have a hot tool you’re just in love with?  Also, do you have any tips for keeping hair tangle free?  I’d love to know.  I love keeping my hair healthy and I think I might share my hair care products and tips some time, if you are all interested.

This seems to be a really stressful time in the semester for everyone.  I hope you are all keeping it together.  I won’t lie, I’m struggling.  It’s okay, I’ll just nap away my problems.

We shall talk soon!
