FOTD: Holiday Bold Lip.

Happy holidays, bow friends!

I wanted to share a look I absolutely love for holiday parties and dinners, but that I’m probably going to wear on New Years!  This is also a look I developed around wearing a deep purple lip.  I had bought Shade 04 of the Lasting Finish by Kate Moss for Rimmel collection ages ago and couldn’t get it to work for me.  Somehow I’ve managed a look that really makes it look chic and festive!

Holiday Look Products

I used less products than I usually do when it comes to looks like this, surprisingly!

Face Products:

Evian Water Facial Spray

Make Up Forever HD Foundation Primer

Revlon Colorstay Whipped Creme Foundation in 330 True Beige

Benefit Booing Concealer in Shade 2 – under the eyes

MAC Blot Powder in Medium Dark – setting foundation and concealer

Tarte Amazonian Clay Matte Waterproof Bronzer in Park Avenue Princess – contour

Lancome Blush Subtil in Shimmer Mocha Havana

No make up; Face make up done.

Eye Products:

Maybelline Color Tattoo in Bad to the Bronze

Estee Lauder Pure Color eyeshadow in Tea Biscuit

NYX Super Skinny Eye Marker in Carbon Black

Bad Gal Lash Mascara in Plum

MAC Mystery Eyeshadow – eyebrows

Maybelline Great Lash Mascara in Clear – through the brows

Blistex Lip Medex Lip Protectant

Rimmel Lasting Finish by Kate Moss in Shade 04

MAC Dazzleglass in Boys Go Crazy

And that is that!  I got lots of compliments on this look including “I like the purple lip thing.  That’s different.” from a few of my guy friends!  So hey, there’s proof it’s not completely scary.

I hope everyone had a great Chanukah, Christmas, Kwanza, or anything else you’re celebrating!

We will talk soon!  Stay warm!
